OWNERSHIP OF ARTWORK

Rescued Tails retains the rights to all custom artwork created. Your custom pet illustration may be used in future offers on RescuedTails.com. If I use your pets portrait in a future promotion, such as for ready-to-buy art of particular breed or type of animal, I will change the colors, and remove any customization such as your pet’s “story” or name. Digital files will not be provided to customers, they are the sole ownership of Rescued Tails. Unauthorized duplication of the artwork commissioned is not allowed. If you would like to have your pet portrait reproduced on additional items (such as a mug or tee shirt) please contact me. I plan to offer various items for sale on my website in the future, however the portrait must be paid for in advance. Currently, the price of the artwork is included in the print and framed item options. My current rate for a single pet is $150.00 USD, and each additional pet is $125.00 USD. The prices shown on the products include both the print or fame and the artwork.

 

 

SHIPPPING

At the moment we ship with flat rate pricing within the Continental USA and to Cabo San Lucas, BCS Mexico . If you are located in Canada, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, please call (001-951-704-3374) or write for custom shipping quotes (woof@RescuedTails.com). Some Products are packaged and shipped separately. We cannot guarantee delivery dates and accept no responsibility, apart from advising you of any known delay, for Products that are delivered after the estimated delivery date. Flat rate shipping rates are shown at checkout, before confirming your order.

 

For customers in Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico, you will pay our USA flat rate shipping and your item will be delivered to our carrier service in California, USA. Our carrier will then import and deliver your product to “The Daily Mail” in Cabo San Lucas, BCS Mexico. You will be required to by the import fee/IVA directly to “The Daily Mail”. The price of the fee will be 25% of the total of your product order. We request that your order be picked dup within one week of arrival at “The Daily Mail” as they will not store your product for an extensive amount of time. You will be notified via email that your order has arrived at “The Daily Mail”.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES

I am happy to offer gift certificates! Please contact me directly to place a gift certificate order. Gift certificates will be emailed to you as a digital file after payment is received. You will b responsible to print it if you would like personally give it to the recipient. At the time of order by the recipient, he/she will be required to send me the digital voucher or custom voucher code. Gift certificates are non-refundable and are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

 

RETURNS

If you're not happy with the quality of the frame or print, you can return it within 30 days of the order date.   Upon receipt of the returned item, I’ll issue a refund for the price of the frame or print, minus the charge for the artwork.  If you are not happy with the pet portrait at the time of approval (prior to printing/framing), a 50% refund will be provided for the artwork charge (Current artwork charges are $150.00 for one pet and $125.00 for each additional pet). Once you have approved your pet portrait, prior to printing/framing there will be no refund on the art itself. Please note - I do not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality.

 

PRIVACY

When you purchase something from our store, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. With your permission, We will ask you to sign up for our email campaigns, to offer you special deals, new items and helpful tips for protecting your pets. You may decline this request and opt out at any time. Emails received from customers may be used as testimonials on this website. I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.

 

SHOPIFY

My store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell  products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Using a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
