Sweet Pea

Wendy is amazing with animals. She came and helped me with my rescue (Sweet Pea) a few days after I brought her home from the shelter. I was nervous leaving her alone with Wendy because I didn't know her personality yet with strangers, and Sweet Pea seemed nervous for me to leave. When I returned an hour later, there was my exuberant, never stop moving 65 pound rescue "puppy", in a puddle of putty under the spell of Wendy's massage therapy. Over the course of a few visits, it became even more obvious that Wendy was helping to calm Sweet Pea's fried nerves (after three months of her puppyhood in a shelter). Now, Sweet Pea enjoys a massage like any human would. She plops into her bed, gives Wendy kisses, and snores away. This from a dog that prefers to be on the move at all times.
